Cotton Quiz '54

Just when you thought cotton couldn't get any more fun and exciting, along comes this neat little booklet from the National Cotton Council to prove otherwise. As the cover states, this handy guide contains many "interesting educational FACTS about cotton" --it also helps that they hired a top notch cartoonist (who???) to supply the great illustrations!

this was especially interesting to me as my family on my dad's side were cotton farmers, they all worked and lived in what we Texans call the Panhandle, my dad grew up farming then decided to get a job in town! i spent several summers on my Me-Maw's farm before my uncle took it over: a few years later cotton farming became too hard and unprofitable due to weather changes...
